The Victoria-Jungfrau
Collection

The History

The foundations of the VICTORIA-JUNGFRAU COLLECTION were laid in the spring of 1997 with the amalgamation of the VICTORIA-JUNGFRAU Grand Hotel & Spa and the PALACE LUZERN after many years of close and productive cooperation. At that time, the Board of Directors of the VICTORIA-JUNGFRAU COLLECTION resolved to pursue controlled growth of the company within the luxury sector. While the VICTORIA-JUNGFRAU Grand Hotel & Spa is still owned by the hotel group, the long-term lease agreement for the PALACE LUZERN expired at the end of autumn 2018.

The EDEN AU LAC has been owned by the renowned hotel group since November 2005; the five-star hotel overlooking Lake Zurich is currently under construction and will be reopened in summer 2019. In May 2006, the hotel Bellevue Palace AG in Bern and the VICTORIA-JUNGFRAU COLLECTION concluded the lease agreement for the BELLEVUE PALACE in Bern. A lease contract was also agreed in 2017 for the CRANS AMBASSADOR in Crans-Montana, the latest member of the hotel group. In March 2014 AEVIS Holding SA acquired a majority stake in the VICTORIA-JUNGFRAU COLLECTION with the aim of effectively guiding the group into the future as a controlling shareholder. AEVIS Holding SA merged with the VICTORIA-JUNGFRAU COLLECTION to form AEVIS VICTORIA SA in June 2015.
