The Victoria-Jungfrau
Collection

The History

The foundations of the VICTORIA-JUNGFRAU COLLECTION were laid in the spring of 1997 with the amalgamation of the VICTORIA-JUNGFRAU Grand Hotel & Spa and the PALACE LUZERN after many years of close and productive cooperation. At that time, the Board of Directors of the VICTORIA-JUNGFRAU COLLECTION resolved to pursue controlled growth of the company within the luxury sector. While the VICTORIA-JUNGFRAU Grand Hotel & Spa is still owned by the hotel group, the long-term lease agreement for the PALACE LUZERN expired at the end of autumn 2018.

The EDEN AU LAC in Zurich has been owned by the renowned hotel group since November 2005. The hotel is currently under construction and will be reopened in autumn 2019 as La Réserve EDEN AU LAC Zurich. In May 2006, the hotel Bellevue Palace AG in Bern and the VICTORIA-JUNGFRAU COLLECTION concluded the lease agreement for the BELLEVUE PALACE in Bern. A lease contract was also agreed in 2017 for the CRANS AMBASSADOR in Crans-Montana, the latest member of the hotel group. In March 2014 AEVIS Holding SA acquired a majority stake in the VICTORIA-JUNGFRAU COLLECTION with the aim of effectively guiding the group into the future as a controlling shareholder. AEVIS Holding SA merged with the VICTORIA-JUNGFRAU COLLECTION to form AEVIS VICTORIA SA in June 2015.
